2023 Superhero 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
The East Texas Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Superhero 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is a fun time for all! With a mix of serious runners and families dressed in amazing superhero attire, even some of our four-legged friends join in on the excitement! There is a little something for everyone! We are thrilled to bring this amazing event back to our community again in 2023.
Take a step for good and help raise critical awareness and funds for advocacy on behalf of local children involved in the foster care system.
CASA speaks up for children who’ve experienced abuse or neglect by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. In total, our organizations served over 468 local children this past year. However, these are only some of the children in foster care in our three counties; our goal is to serve every child, and with your help, we can make sure every child has an opportunity to be loved, supported, and heard.
